Biology and appearance

Sweebeehs are chubby, beaver-like creatures with short, chunky legs, long tails, and big floppy ears. Their round cheeks store sweets, and behind their pudgy mouths are strong teeth made for chomping sugarcane and crunching hard candy. They live on Clerifia, a world filled with endless treats.

Sweebeehs are famous for baking the best pastries and desserts. They love sharing their goodies with others, though they can’t help sneaking a bite or two along the way.

Society and culture

Sweebeehs are natural snackers, meaning they always need something to chew on. Their teeth never stop growing, so they wear them down by munching on sugarcane and other sweet things. Unlike most creatures, sugar is actually good for them!

On their homeworld, they gather treats in all sorts of ways, mining hard candy from rocks, collecting gelatin from the seas, scooping custard from volcanoes, and, of course, chopping down endless fields of sugarcane. Sweebeehs adore cooking, and they take great pride in feeding others. Nothing makes a sweehbeeh happier than seeing someone enjoy their creations, though they can get a little grumpy if their treats aren’t appreciated.

Thanks to their access to space travel, sweebeehs are able to share their goodies all across the galaxy!

Strengths

Their bites are very strong and powerful, enough in fact to snap through trees and crush nearly anything in their jaws. A single chomp could even tear off a limb. Despite their round, pudgy bodies, their fat helps them stay warm through the coldest winters. Their heavy tails can deliver a fierce blow, and they have a keen sense for detecting ingredients and spices, making them natural masters in the kitchen.

Weaknesses

Sweebeehs aren’t very fast on their feet, so, when threatened, they raise their large tails high in order to appear bigger and more intimidating. However, their love of sweets often gets the better of them, they can be easily distracted whenever sugar is nearby.
