Enokoi are a species of large, freshwater fish, found only on the planet Fungaia.

They make their homes in ponds and slow moving waters, where they can be seen swimming in groups or resting near the edge among plants. Enokoi are easy to recognise by their long whiskers, which they use to sense their surroundings, and by their unusual, fungus-like tails that help them blend into the aquatic vegetation.

Their diet is varied, consisting of smaller fish, plants, algae, insects, and worms. This makes them important in keeping the pond ecosystems balanced. Because they are plentiful and grow to a large size, enokoi are also a key food source for other creatures. Both scufflepaws and kuparkukes rely on them as their main prey, making enokoi one of the most important species in Fungaia’s food chain.
