Wretchester

Wretchester is a large city on the planet Gunkmire.

An ancient place, it is the home of Wretchester Cathedral, the cathedral of the Archbishop of Wretchester, making it a base of operations for the Cult of Decay. The cathedral is the oldest one still standing on Gunkmire – a title it has held ever since the cathedral at Sinkbell disappeared beneath the bogs, long ago.

The city is situated about fifty miles from Boglight, Gunkmire’s capital city, a little further from the coast, and is therefore drier and less foul. The River Woe runs its snake-like course through Wretchester, before joining the River Mire on its path through Boglight, to the Festering Seas beyond.
