New merchandise now available

I thought I’d take a quick break from working on our game to announce officially that – in celebration of hitting the 5,000+ follower milestone over on Twitter – we’ve just launched a selection of new merchandise over in the Cult of Galaxy Shop, and it’s available right now!
Firstly, keychains. We’ve added four, brand new acrylic keychains to our shop, all designed by Kinoko’s creator Chelsey herself, and each featuring Kinoko in one of his silly poses. Printed in vivid bright colours and fixed with star-shaped metal chains, we reckon these keychains will look great no matter what you attach them to, be it your car keys, your rucksack, your purse or whatever else. They can be bought separately if you’ve got a favourite – alternatively, if you’re a die-hard Kinoko collector, you can grab the bundle of four and save yourself some money with our discount.
And secondly, the art print. This A4-sized print features Kinoko and his starsprite companions, along with both gods: the universe’s creator Galaxy, and her first-born turned destroyer, Blackhole. It’s printed on premium glossy paper and we think it’d look great whether framed or unframed.
As always, every penny we make in profit from the Cult of Galaxy Shop is invested back into the game, so buying merchandise from our shop is an excellent way of contributing to our project whilst getting something back in return. We ship to well over 200 countries, and all our stock is stored by us in our home – the Cult of Galaxy Shop isn’t a front for one of those print-on-demand services, so you can rest assured that we’ve personally checked every single piece of merchandise for top-notch quality.
If you do choose to pick up some merchandise from our shop, we’d be hugely grateful, and we’d love it if you’d consider posting a photo and tagging us once you’ve received your goods in the post – we love seeing our stuff arrive in different parts of the planet!

Today, I have lots more to share with you on our game’s recent progress, and also some thoughts on the thing that everyone’s been really patiently waiting for: the potential, first ever demo release for our Kinoko and the Cult of Galaxy game!
With platforming finally in a decent and prototypable place, we’re ready to begin looking at another of our game’s core facilities: Kinoko’s tablet, which will serve as the game’s primary user interface and provide Kinoko with access to his inventory, maps, unlocked outfits, and lots more besides!
Once again, I’ve left the monthly round-up until the very last possible moment, and so I haven’t had a chance to think of a theme for this one. Like last month, I’m just going to take this as an opportunity to read back over all my diary entries for the month and see what we accomplished in March!
